Snapshot #97

I’ve begun walking around our neighborhood with a couple of friends. The steps seem to come much more easily with the exchange of witty banter, and I am racking up the miles.

One friend led us across the dam that borders Lake Yvette, and I snapped this picture halfway across. I’m calling it, “Damn Fine Dam View.”

Snapshot #95

I looked up after completing my evening walk and saw this captivating sight. I call this one, “Sky Writing.”

Jesus H. Christ! We are so screwed!

Perfect.

Hello, and welcome to hell for us in the United States!  As soon as Trump took office, the White House website was changed to reflect the incoming administration.  Please take a look at the top issues, I have a link below.  If this does not scream fascism, I don’t know what does.  Never in my 58 years on this planet did I ever think I would be this afraid.  I’m scared shitless for my country that I love so much.

Snapshot #94

The root system on this tree was mesmerizing. I call this one “Lady in Waiting.” Do you see her?

Dystopian You

You stand on the corner of
Climate Change and Rising Seas
In the neighborhood of Zika,
Deep in the heart of
Nuclear Destruction.

Wave to North Korea’s crazy
Dictator across the Ocean of
Despair, one insult away from
Gracing us with a big, bad bomb
And a centuries deep winter.

Curtsy to Putin, our Russian pal,
His KGB ties beside the point.
Stand in bread lines with comrades
All. Take time to learn Cyrillic
Script for future reference.

Stockpile bandages and canned
Goods. Be sure to save the books and
Works of art. Listen, you won’t Remember when the boots come stomping And the knock comes in the night.

Snapshot #’s 91, 92, and 93

The easiest title ever:

“Duck, Ducks, Goose.”
