Obviously, I was living in the Dark Ages, because I thought it was a song about roller skating, too! I heard the same thing about Millie Small’s song, “My Boy Lollipop.” I chalk it up to going to Catholic school all my life. They kept us very sheltered… 😉

That could so be sexually intended now that I actually read the words. So many 70’s songs are though and I constantly remember back to just how naive I was as a teen when I hear them now.
