Summer Night

Long hot nights cruising Main, driving super slow with the windows rolled down,

The radio cranked to a soft rock station. Witchy woman sing along; see how high

She flies. Loose limbed, loosed tongue, necking in the backseat to Eagles’ live

Rendition. Good girl says whoa. Bad girl says go. She’s got the moon in her eyes.

Traffic slides by, wraiths on a river; heavy breathing, heavy petting. Hearts beat in

Sultry unison. Hands discover new delights. Tick tock. Curfew saves the night.

      1. The Eagles are great…

… but for my taste nothing is better than putting on Johnny Hartman’s version of “My One And Only Love” (that he did with John Coltrane), dimming the lights, opening the balcony curtains and slow dancing in the dark while watching the moonlit snow gently fall outside on the roofs of Jōtō-ku…

        …meow!!

      2. There is nothing better than loving a woman. God bless my gay guy friends but damn! NOTHING is better than the results of a night of Hartman, a mature woman (45-55: yum!!), and a little 15 yr old Dalwhinnie Single Malt.
