Colonoscopy prep is no fun. The nasty tasting drink is shudder worthy. And let’s not even talk about the effects of drinking the concoction. Eww.
However, I know colonoscopies save lives. I know that prepping for one is a walk in the park compared to the agonies of colon cancer.
So—cheers!

Peace, people!
Cheers! Just waiting on the call for mine.

I would say have fun, but that’s not really appropriate in this case. I suppose, speaking both literally with the drink and figuratively with other parts of this process I could offer: Bottom’s Up!! 🙂

You have my sympathy!!
I regret initially taking tye advice to “sip 7up between cups”… it refreshed my taste bud and made the next cup even worse.
However, telling people that my GI issues are so bad that “the prep’s effects on me were no different than every day of my life” sure has brought understanding to some people! Their 1-day is my every day!!

Every GI specialist should have to go through that prep, to find out what it’s like! The colonoscopy itself is a breeze, eh?
Glad you have a squeaky clean bill of health after all that.

gotta love the results, though

I wish you good results and “smooth” sailing through the process. I’ve done similar and it is one of the more miserable experiences I’ve ever had. I do not look forward to the days where I have to do that on a more regular basis.

Thanks! Have yet to receive the results of the colonoscopy. That’s making me a little nervous.

There’s always time to worry later. In the meantime, there could be a thousand reasons for the results to be slow.

It’s just gross. My grandson had to prep for abdominal surgery yesterday and the magnesium citrate made him puke up all his meds. 😳
