I’m guilty of neglecting my responsibilities in regard to being a good follower of blogs. There’s a certain compact we form with those we follow and those who follow us to keep up to date, to comment, and support. I’ve been so wrapped up in me, me, me, that I’ve not lived up to my end of the bargain.
Last night I tried to play catch up, but I’m a week or two late in my comments. Their worlds have moved on, and I’m late to the party. I hope I can be forgiven. Bless me bloggers, for I have been really distracted.

Peace, people!
Get off your knees, you are forgiven!

That’s probably because you have thousands of active followers. My little comments probably don’t get missed.

They are never insignificant. I lied – and I know how busy you have been.

On the plus side, when I read several of your older posts in a row it’s almost like a meditation. So calming.

🙂 That is so pleasing.

No apology is needed……the blogger blogs for them, not you ……

I know, I know. Just guilt.

I never realized this was a bargain I was entering into xD
Guess I have a loooot of sorries to spread too then!
Ps. Comments are appreciated. Not obligatory – in my world anyway

The interaction with other bloggers is one of my favorite parts of blogging. And I feel guilty when I don’t keep up my end of the bargain. I feel guilty about tons of stuff, though. Sigh. 😳

Explanation: I don’t like that you feel that way, but I just love the word ‘schlub.’ And I have come to realize I like words with the ‘ch’ in them, like crunch and couch. Things you really wanna’ know, right? 😆

I save the WP email updates for comments, likes and query them, on occasion and will de-follow silent bloggers. Every once in awhile I accidently delete the messages and am flying blind for awhile.

When I’m on the ball, I look at Reader daily. I just haven’t been in the ball much lately.

Don’t be hard on yourself. Sometimes it’s impossible to stay on top. Besides you’re writing books now!
All forgiven.

I miss the interaction, though! But thanks!

You need some relaxation, smells like anxiety. Do the catching up later, it might work even better after some relaxation. For now, bask in glory of your book that got published 🙂

I totally understand and am ‘guilty’ of the same thing! It’s just difficult to maintain consistency in such a weird time – from many directions.

I haven’t noticed because I haven’t visited my own blog, so it makes two of us. Hope all is well, please don’t be sorry ❤

It’s totally understandable! You don’t realize how much the act of hitting publish on a book takes over every aspect of your life for a while until you do it yourself. It’s kind of crazy how consuming it can be.

Tell me, did you watch the reports section of KDP like it was a football game or your favorite show for a few days?

Ugh! So much! That and the reviews on both Goodreads and Amazon. Then the obsession grew when I got into the ad metrics and stats. That stuff is insanely addictive!

I’m not yet on Goodreads, and the ad metrics stuff is beyond my skill level, so I’ll just obsess over the simple report, it’s plenty. But kind of nice to know I’m not alone.

Definitely get on Goodreads! Every spot you are listed, the more chances of getting seen.

I completely understand. I came back from a blogging break sort of determined not to get bogged under in blog post reading! But I do skim still — congrats on your book!

When you follow a bunch of great bloggers it’s easy to fall behind. And thank you!

That’s okay! We are only human! I have days when I post and days when I read, but I cannot do both at the same time and I can’t catch up with all posts…..

Thank you. It can get out of hand pretty quickly!
