Pitch Perfect Marathon

Will you think less of me if I tell you how much I love these stupid movies? I invited Studly Doright to watch them with me last night and we binged all three. He didn’t resist too vehemently.

Why, oh why do I love these movies? Is it the music? The cringe-worthy humor? The contrived story lines? Yes, yes, and yes.

Anyone else have a movie, or a series of movies, that you love in spite of your better judgement? Share if you do.

Peace, people!

  1. There are so many movies I haven’t seen. Movies used to be a huge thing for me to watch and it was rare that I ever hadn’t seen something (at least of the more popular/known movies). Now it is almost the opposite. It is rare if I HAVE seen it. Anything from probably early 00’s and on. Isn’t that sad? I can say that we finally all sat down and watched all the Marvel movies. Just finished them over the weekend.

    1. We used to see a movie in the theater once a week, but even before the social distancing thing we’d slowed down quite a bit. I did see all the Marvel movies in the theater, though!

      1. We were talking about how amazing it would have been to see these in the theater. BG saw End Game with a friend (it was actually the first Marvel she saw, weird, I know) and that is what prompted us to watch them all. I will say that I’m kind of glad we didn’t watch them until after they were all done and released, because I would have been in a fit after Infinity War because I HATE cliffhangers with a raging passion.

I can’t remember the last movie I saw in the theater. Probably one of the Hunger Games movies. We are just such homebodies it isn’t funny.
