This one, my Patches, doesn’t think I know she’s nestled next to my leg. If she knew I was aware of her presence, she’d meow as if she’d been mortally wounded while simultaneously leaping from the bed onto the floor and racing from the room.

Which is exactly what happened immediately after I snapped this picture. At least I have visual proof now that Patches sometimes needs to be snuggled, in spite of what she tells her friends.

Not a cat person, but that is so real…..hard evidence…..

I think it’ll hold up in the courts.

This one is our “no see ‘em” cat. Guests don’t believe she exists.

Penny is weird….there are people she totally hides from, but others, she’s right in their face

Love her name. Our Scout loves 99% of our guests. I trust her judgement on the 1%.

Cats. They epitomize the idea that their humans must love them as they are, and yet they will still reject you in the blink of an eye. I believe that if humans ever lose the ability to be dominant in this world, cats will be the species to take over 😉

I’d live in that world.

You’re tough, to be able to live with that constant on-again, off-again rejection 😉

What a sweet name!

It’s ‘officially’ Star because she had a white face with a dark spot that looked like a Mae West dot. She was also a Christmas kitten. Over the years she’s taken on many nicknames: Starzer, Starzerbabe and Starbaby.

All the best cats have multiple names. My Scout is alternately Scooter, Scootser, and Scoutser, while Patches is often Pouchie. We don’t know why.

Kitty Cats are are akin to cryptocurrency. They bring tremendous wealth to a relationship, but often try their damnedest to make it feel less than tangible.
