Taupe and grey,
As I look back
Are the subdued children
of brown and black.
But I’m no expert
On the color wheel,
For all I know
They’re a great big deal.
Gray and taupe
Lackluster hues
That come in handy
When choosing shoes.
A trip through life with fingers crossed and eternal optimism.
Doing the best I can with what I have
kind of sad, but not so bad with cheese. cheese not provided.

I don’t know much about heels, but subdued colors are important when I buy shoes too. I’m certain my boss wouldn’t like it if I dressed in, say, red or purple ones. 🙂
