A Little Vine Music

Creeping curving clef

Bold stroke twining garden’s staff

In the key of green

Floral fusion blooms

A visual melody

Music to the eyes

Strains softly entwine

Noted lines in four four time

Pianissimo

  1. Pianissimo. Bellissimo! Does this particular type of haiku have a name (I mean the 3 lines and photo, 3 lines and photo … ?). I’m asking because it’s one you do particularly well, with a superb blend of verses and visuals. I’ve loved a number of similar ones of yours this year…

    1. Thank you! To be honest, I don’t know if this form has a name. I just enjoy expanding on a theme in this manner.
Sometimes a word or phrase pops into my head and I go in search of images that are some variation on the thought. It’s an enjoyable exercise.
