Patches had been in this position, motionless for the past five minutes.
I don’t believe her eyes have blinked the entire time.
If I weren’t a chicken I’d look up to see what has her so fascinated. Please, oh please don’t let it be a gigantic woman-eating spider!
Peace, people!
Cats can see poltergeists. In other news, that cat needs squeezing and I volunteer.

Oh great! And here I am home alone. I’ll never sleep tonight.

Don’t worry about it, the cat will take care of it. They bat poltergeists around like the half-dead mice they torture until mealtime. Poltergeists know this and give them a wide birth.
Just make sure to allow kitty access to all rooms of the house all night long and the poltergeist will grow exhausted haunting different rooms on a rotating basis and will soon depart.
All that’s left is the Ghost Hunting Victory Tuna Treat.

That should be “berth,” not “birth.”

Ha! I didn’t catch that. She’s spayed, so we’re good on both counts.

Hey, totally off topic, but I noticed that you hail from the Pacific Northwest. I have good friends from Illinois who are moving up to Oregon in April. The husband will be the county manager for Clatsop County. They’re both avid hikers.

Well, if they love dripping deep green moss, symphonies of wood frogs, and rocky coastline, they’ll love hiking in Oregon.

PS: My blogs have dozens of hiking ideas but tell them to acquaint themselves with the Northwest Forest Pass and the Sno-Park Permit. They’ll learn why.

Patches is contemplating missing a meal. Obviously, to ponder is Patches.

The cat is nuts. Right now she is sitting directly in front of our TV with her eyes closed. And she never misses a meal. Ever.

She’s letting the images get seared into her brain by osmosis. 😛

She was freaking me out.

LOL! That must have been something to see … the stare I mean, not you freaking out. Wait, that would have been interesting too!
