Maybe a Vespa.

Nope, we have armies of them here and they pollute more than average cars!

I ride what is termed a super scooter. It’s meant for long distance travel and will run 80 mph all day long. But I told Studly I’d love to find a little Vespa to fix up for riding around town.
Tallahassee is a college town and we have a huge number of scooter riding college kids. Makes travel interesting.

I guess in your town that’d be ok 🙂 They’re the bane of traffic here. They zip around, behind, in front of and into gridlocked cars in herds, mostly kamikaze style and often travel on incoming traffic lanes. I see at least one nasty scooter-caused accident a day…

Ours are pretty well regulated by lanes and speed limits. But the college kids scare me. Many don’t wear helmets and they ride about in skirts and shorts. I’m a real motorcyclist. All the gear, all the time is my motto.

Helmets are mandatory here – without them we’d have a horrific number of casualties. You sound like a safe motorcyclist 🙂
