Simply Speaking

simply speaking
i feel helpless,
useless, wasted.

simply speaking
i feel anguished,
broken, crushed.

no complicated
phrases convey
this despair:

again.

  1. So feel I. I happened to know some languages, and it gives me an opportunity ( questionable) to read what other people think. I came to the same conclusion as Rudyard Kipling – The East and The West are too different. Most of the Westerners write their comments using words like ‘peace’, ‘compassion’, ‘humanity’. The border is Germany and Austria, then the picture starts changing. Eastern Europeans mostly use words ‘kick out’. Comments in Russian say ‘kill’, ‘burn down’. I have found this article, written in 2004. Very sad to realise how true it is. http://www.quebecoislibre.org/04/040915-6.htm
    Sad beyond measure.

  2. It is all extremely distressing. I, like I’m sure most other people around the world of whatever race, creed or religion, really just want everybody to get a long. Fanatical idiots like those terrorists in France make life tougher for everyone, including their innocent co-religionists who get scapegoated because of them.
