Writing with eyes shut
Invited into your realm
I see what you see

Seashell to my ear
Phantom waves break around us
I hear what you hear

Wings pinned in display
Suffocating under glass
I feel what you feel

Honestly, I’m just a nose with a few accessories.

One of my high school friends wrote this. He’s hit the nail right on the head and I wanted to share. Check out his blog on WordPress.

Studly Doright played a round of golf last night, so I spent my evening on our screened-in back porch. My time was well spent, and I chronicled my experience on Facebook. Oh, wine consumption was involved.

And if that wasn’t exciting enough….

Of course, at some point the excitement must wane…

Here’s my view:

Wishing you a gator-free evening.
Peace, people.
This two-year-old post showed up on my page today. The story is absolutely true, and I still miss that skirt.

Peace, people!

Now, let the editing begin.
Thanks to everyone who advised, suggested, encouraged, etc. I’d still be at 25,000 words if it hadn’t been for you all.

Yesterday a spider formed a strange bond with my husband, Studly Doright. We were sitting outside and the little guy kept jumping into Studly’s ankle. I thought they made a cute couple, but arachnophobic Studly wasn’t smitten. Or bitten.

Cute, isn’t he?
Peace, people.
