A million emotions
Mask grief:
Anger and madness
Contrition and control
Exhaustion and endurance
Helplessness and hopelessness
Too many to name. So much to bear.
The hurt reaches into each pore,
Slender branches poking and prodding
Taking over until the misery spills out faster
Than we can process it.
And that is why we
Weep.

I am so sorry. Sending you a big hug.

I echo all the others, and will add that when my first wife died a lifetime ago I cried for 3 days and nights.

Thank you. I’m going to try and recall as many of her stories as possible and retell them. She lived a very rich life.

I continue to send wishes for strength and healing to your in-laws with Covid as well as all of you working as care givers. I’m going to save that quote you posted. It may come as a good reminder in the days ahead. Thank you.
