A Well Lit Cat

Gracie enjoys lounging on the light bar in the bathroom as she watches me apply my makeup most mornings.

“I don’t know, Mom. Maybe your eyebrows are too sparse…”
“Ah! You’ve never looked better.”

She’s not much help, but she’s a kind critic.

Peace, people.

  1. Yes, a Gracie book and blog…love that idea from flora! Tub sitting, I believe in my limited knowledge of cats is wanting the faucet water to be their own personal fountain. What is her water situation now? A regular bowl or does she have one of those bubbly things? Even with those many cats learn where other fresh sources are and look to those as well. BTW, this knowledge comes from having daughters Finn in the house for 2 months. He has a lovely bubbling water fountain but would always run to the tub after I showered to catch any drips.

  2. I love all the weird places cats manage to get themselves. This one is hilarious! I keep finding fur in places that I never thought either of my cats could even reach let alone get their furry butts onto, like the shelves in my new room. It’s going to be fun trying to keep everything in the places I put them.

  3. You wear makeup??? I put on lipstick a month ago to go to a funeral but wore a mask so what good was it? Sheltering in again means no makeup for me. (I bet lipstick companies have had a rough time during the pandemic.) Gracie does look sweet. Cats are so intriguing. Little Buddhas.
