Those of you who’ve read my first novel, Mayhem at the Happy Valley Motor Inn and Resort, will get a huge kick out of this gift my son designed for me.

I squealed when he gave me the shirt. I’m going to wear it the next time I drink from the Scout’s Honor logo mug my daughter commissioned to celebrate the publishing company name we coined for the book.

Do I have the coolest kids, or what?
Peace, people.
Ha ha. brilliant.

Guess what?! I googled “naked juggling” and they actually exist!

If you ever do an in-person promo of your book you should see if a group of them could attend. That would definitely draw in the crowds even though the book can stand on it’s own merit 😉

Ha! That would be something!

And OMG, I also just googled it and the little Puget Sound island north of me that I vacationed at last summer had a juggling festival at some point with nighttime naked jugglers!!! Do a “naked juggling” search look for the site about Lopez Island. The pics of the very naked jugglers are near the bottom of the series.

That’s priceless. Only those who read the book can know the truth. I love it. You have good children.

It is so amazing that your kids are so supportive and having fun with you on this journey! But… have they read the book? lol! My daughter read mine and was kind of “meh” (though she did sell a couple to friends), but my son won’t go near it. It isn’t a video game or computer related, so he isn’t even remotely interested. Granted, they are still teens and above all that, so it is to be expected. I love how involved your kids are.

My son has almost finished reading it and my daughter is about halfway through. But they’re both in their 40’s now and have teenagers and busy jobs. I’m just tickled that they like it.
