One touch, lingering
One kiss, unforgettable
One night of passion

I forget to breathe
My whole world wraps around you
When you’re near, time stops

For one sweet moment
Our lips meet, our bodies join
And I am deemed healed

Peace, people!
One touch, lingering
One kiss, unforgettable
One night of passion
I forget to breathe
My whole world wraps around you
When you’re near, time stops
For one sweet moment
Our lips meet, our bodies join
And I am deemed healed
Peace, people!

I’m working on this danged romantic novel, so my romance meter is tending towards “high”. I’m having a blast writing it, but the romantic scenes do not come easily. I either feel like they’re too much or not enough. It’s a fine balance, and I’m a novice.

That’s kind of you! Every day I realize how much my writing skills are lacking.

I’m not being kind: I’ve seen you getting better and better over the last year, I mean it 🙂

Yes mam! You can come to Jax and I’ll come to Thomasville. I so look forward to that day. I sent you an email a while back and gave you my phone number. Never heard back from you. We do need to exchange so the next time I see BoysIIMen in your neighborhood, I can text you. LOL! 🙂

I like your use of “one” – one moment, one kiss, etc. Your poem reminds us of how powerful this one time romance can be!
