Our cat’s main purpose in life seems to be finding her toys and depositing them on our bed. Usually, they can be found all lined up as if waiting at the post office for stamps. I do believe they’re practicing a scaled down version of social distancing.

Peace, people.
Brilliant.

Or maybe they were doing a conga line until you walked in. They were then forced to drop and act like they weren’t animate creatures until you walked back out.

It’s hilarious how organized she is about this. It’s like she’s putting together an art project for you.

I know! Currently I have three sheets of tissue paper on the floor—leftover from a gift wrapping session. She’s been eager to put a toy on each sheet of paper.

She is! I prefer the stuffed mice medium to the puke one she uses sometimes.

I am also a cat owner and, thus, sadly familiar with the puke medium.

too cute, my cats never seem to play with toys, maybe too old?

Scout is 16, but she’s always liked her toys.

14 is a ripe old age!

True, but 16 is good to be playing like that

Scout plays a lot. She occasionally has bouts of digestive issues, but otherwise, she acts like a kitten.
