Small Offerings

Our kitty, Scout, thinks that if I’m in the bathroom she should be in the bathroom, as well. Unfortunately this morning I made the mistake of closing the bathroom door before she realized where I was.

Soon she was tapping against the bathroom door and meowing pitifully, but I was taking care of business and couldn’t stop to cross the room and open the door. Before long, she was shoving toys underneath the door.

I believe she thinks she’s sacrificing her toys to save me.

Peace, people.

  1. This is so cute!! Yes, I leave the bathroom door open, too–just enough for two of my cats to hook their paw around to pull it open. They weave through my legs, peek behind the shower curtain into the tub, and then they walk out. Every single time. I don’t get it.

      1. The cat we had growing up was an indoor/outdoor kitty and she LOVED to bring us presents. Snakes and mice mostly. Rarely ever dead, that that dead was much better. And almost always delivered to my dad, the one person in the house that had a serious hate on for snakes.

      1. Awwh, mine were 18 year old sisters. They had a wonderful life but I know just how you feel. They are part of the day that is always good, no problems, no hassles. Unless they get sick of course and that throws everything off kilter. Enjoy every sweet day.
