Odd Injury

What’s the oddest injury you’ve ever had? I’m a lightning rod for odd injuries. Just today I noticed a small cut on the tip of my middle finger. It’s similar to a paper cut, but I’m positive I’d recall having gotten one of those.

After discussing the injury with Studly Doright I’ve decided it’s probably a flossing related injury. Yes, my desire for good dental hygiene is injurious to my health. Go figure.

I might live longer, but at what cost?

Peace, people.

  1. In a rugby match some 40 years ago I and a team-mate simultaneously dived on the ball. He got the ball; I got a broken finger. I tied it to the next one with a bootlace and continued the game. I have never been able to bend that digit again

  2. do you
hareally think it is from the floss?
    hm
    maybe a piece of paper?

and side note – i was just thinking of your blog – when i shared the eyelashes photo – for some reason it reminded me of your “praying for eyebrowz”

  3. I definitely can see getting a cut from flossing. I think I’ve done the once. My most ridiculous injury was dropping a hot cut of tea on my foot and burning it. I was sick as the dogs at the time with a horrible cold! – Marty
