I paused in the sun
Lifted my face to the sky
Offered a prayer

An invocation
For this day and those to come
Protect those I love

Comfort those in need
Cushion every wounding word
Heal winter’s hurts

Those photos are so cute! Can’t believe Feb has been sunny! Great post, would mean a lot if you checked my recent one out too! X

I live in Florida, so we have a lot of sunshine! Even in February. I’ll be happy to stop by your blog.

Thank you! Every day gets me closer to beach time.

Haha, yes, I tend to avoid the beach these days, but winter does bring on a certain longing. I prefer the beach deserted, and after sun down.

Our nearest beach is fairly deserted on weekdays. Very seldom am I mistaken for a killer whale.
