Camouflaged

Okay, this isn’t the best photography, but I couldn’t resist trying to get a picture of a small hawk I saw outside my window yesterday afternoon. He blended so well with his surroundings that I kept losing him among the trees.

The rains came soon after I took the picture and didn’t let up until nearly dark. So glad I got to see this guy.

Peace and feathers, people.

  1. I see him; I see him!!!! There are some hawks that like to fly around in the tall trees behind my house. I can follow them pretty easily now because unlike you, our MI trees are totally bare. They are beautiful to watch in flight aren’t they? Last summer one swooped down while I was out on the patio and grabbed a little chipmunk right by me! And I was trying to protect the little one from my cat. Didn’t see that one coming.
