When in Ireland, do as the Irish do!

I’m operating on three hours of sleep after a long flight, but managed to down a pint or two of Guinness at a highly recommended pub before our room was ready. Maybe I need to relocate to Ireland.
Here’s an Irish blessing that seemed appropriate for this momentous occasion:
“When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let’s all get drunk, and go to heaven!”
Glad to see you embracing the spirit of Ireland . Great stuff my darling xxxxxxxxx

Oh! I’m so jealous! We had to postpone our trip to Ireland in September. I will have to stroll along on yours. And thanks for the follow!

Actually we were booked for a cruise around the British Isles in September with our best friends. 12 days. Included Britain, the Guernsey Islands, Ireland, Scotland, France, and back to Southampton. Unfortunately I ended up in the hospital in May with some weird bacterial pneumonia that collapsed the bottom of my lungs, and while I was in there just HAPPENED to be diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. Total muscle fatigue. Into my second month of prednisone trying to put it into remission but felt the chances of a recurrence were too high to make the trip. We have rolled it over till next May and will see how I’m doing then. I hope you have a ball! Try some Harp! I love that. It’s a bit lighter. 😀

Oh! What a bummer! I’m so sorry. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for May. That sounds like a perfect trip and you NEED to go. We visited Scotland several years ago and I fell in love with the highlands. They raise these huge shaggy cows there and call them “muckle coo” meaning “big ass cows.” Okay, I added the ass, but the rest is authentic.
