This is another picture I took while vacationing in Jamaica. I call it, “There’s Magic in a Tropical Sunset.”
A trip through life with fingers crossed and eternal optimism.
Doing the best I can with what I have
kind of sad, but not so bad with cheese. cheese not provided.

It was so easy to be a good photographer in Jamaica.

Well. I still think it is gorgeous. My older girl was there on honeymoon last year. She loved it x

My sister-in-law lived there for five years, so I got to see a lot of the island I wouldn’t have otherwise. It was quite an eye opening experience to venture outside the tourist areas.

So, I’m almost finished with my current book. Which of yours should I read first?

Totally agree re the tourist bit. But I guess you got to keep these stupid tourists away from the locals. (My mean this same daughter nearly got kidnapped in Roumania once) I only ,like going places if I can see the real place. You are very kind Lesley. It depends on what you like. I mean Loving Lady Lazuli is a darker story whereas the Writer and the Rake, the Viking and the Courtesan are more like romps I guess. yes they all have their deeper, darker moments. I warn you now I don’t do slop, or slush. xxxxxxxx Have a great weekend . We are heading off soon

I normally read science fiction/fantasy, but a good story is a good story regardless of genre. Loving Lady Lazuli intrigues me….thanks for the suggestions!

Yes it was. Hell, I never know where my phone is anyway but they don’t have an internet connection either even better.

Everyone was so friendly this weekend actually . I think people have time to speak to and engage and have a joke with others cos they are not glued to a screen

I hate having a meal with folks and realizing everyone is in his/her phone!

I don’t remember! I’ll have to ask my sister-in-law. She lived in Mandeville. Oh, the photo was from Negril! Just recalled as I was typing.

Ye, that’s a typical Negril sunset, probably the most beautiful throughout the island.
