The Calm Before the Storm

I’m a bit fascinated by our approaching storm. Hermine is still rated as a tropical storm; although, meteorologists expect to upgrade her to a hurricane when she makes landfall tonight.

I shot a brief video that I hope you’ll enjoy. And hey, if I get blown away, you’ll have something to remember me by. I do have two or three posts queued up, though, so you won’t know I’m gone for a bit.

Peace, people!

  1. Oh wow, your property is beautiful. I love bush land. I do hope the storm doesn’t destroy much and that your house is safe. Thank you for the video. If you can catch a little snippet of the storm on a vid I’d love to see it, only if it’s safe to do so tho. Don’t go running out there. We don’t have storms like that in my part of Australia, up north we do but not down the south east region.

      1. Great, thanks. The calmness can be as nerve racking as the storm itself. We get some pretty big electrical storms and that stillness and quiet just before is creepy.
