Calling

A glass of wine on the table
Merlot, smooth and deep red
Grains of sand on the patio
A new book waiting to be read.

Drowsy sighs escaping lips
A touch of lethargy inspired
By recurring sips from the
Depths of a broad bottomed bowl.

Call me to your boudoir soon
With opened, welcoming arms
And I will answer eagerly
My love, I’m coming home.

      1. You see Leslie, everywhere we go she makes me look at ovens. Oven this, oven that…if the truth be told I’m not entirely sure if Whirlpool is a good brand or a crap one, I just rather liked the name…really ought to be a blender rather than an oven though!

      2. I don’t think Jenn is known about these parts…American style big fridges seem to be very popular in the UK these days my boring visits to the shops lead me to believe.
