Just Another Day
Our days are organized around numerous small actions we repeat over and over. What’s your favorite daily ritual?
Once upon a time a handsome prince asked his lovely princess about her favorite routine.
“Routines,” she said, “are for the bored and boring.”
“And yet you drink coffee every morning. Two cups, with a splash of Irish creme,” he chided.
“That’s not routine, darling,” she purred. “That’s for survival. Your survival.”
And they lived happily ever after.

I shared the same feelings for coffee! In my case, it would be a splash of freshly boiled Cow’s milk though, here in India! 🙂

My husband drinks his coffee with a pat of butter in it. He says it keeps him from getting hungry between breakfast and lunch.

Ha ha … so short and sweet. When I start writing, I just can’t shut up. Wish I could keep it short and sweet too. Guess I will learn one of these days.

Oh sometimes I go on and on! And this one started out as something much longer, but when I went back and edited it seemed much stronger in a short and punchy piece.

Mine has gone on to 800 words … wonder if anyone will have the patience to read it. But I enjoyed writing it. 🙂
