Fall sun brandishes
Her autumn hued wand, alight
In burnished bracken.
Gather for harvest
Wielding scythes in rhythmic strains;
A song of plenty.
Most luscious bounty,
Gifts wrested from verdant fields
Labor’s sweet reward.
