Absolutely spot on piece by nonsmokingladybug.wordpress.com.

One man is kneeling in silent protest during the anthem, the other one is kneeling for a private prayer -even though nothing is private when millions are watching.
Until yesterday, my opinion about Colin Kaepernick was pretty clear. “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

As an Non-American this situation has been very frustrating to unfold! I say take the knee! It’s been interesting because a lot of Vets have said that they are alright with Colin taking the knee, he’s protesting peacefully against something that is truly very wrong with America at the moment. They didn’t fight for a flag or an anthem, they fought for America’s freedom. Yet the people who are so against Colin seem to think they are speaking for them, are not Vets themselves and are just ignoring the Vets that are alright with Colin.

The country is so divided on this. Blind patriotism with a bit of racism is to blame.

I didn’t know whether to like that or not, because it’s all so incredibly sad!

We are being led by a mad man. If my children and grandchildren weren’t in the US, I’d leave.
