Trump Legitimizes Hate 

Alex J Fields, is the suspected driver of the car that plowed into a crowd in Charlottesville on August 12, 2017, wounding 19, and killing 1. He is charged with one count of second degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, and one count of hit and run.

Heather Heyer 32 was killed when Fields drove his car into the crowd.

Plowing a vehicle into a crowd is an act of terrorism, but Trump has yet to call it by it’s name. Alex J Fields’ mother “thought he was going to a Trump rally”— and really, he was.

These people are part of Trump’s base. They traded in their white robes, and the pointed hats that hid their faces, for red hats with Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again.” Now we know what that means to these people. Like Pence, Sessions, Bannon, and many in Trump’s entourage, they want to…
