      1. I have been several times to Spetses where we stayed in the middle of nowhere had to carry the cases along the beach and up the hillside. Lovely island. Then we once stayed on Leros, a working island then we discovered Tilos and stayed in an apartment just like that photo. Loved Tilos to bits but after my hubby had to give up work early it meant the end of those kinds of holiday. But ah the memories. These islands like Santorini are the smaller ones compared to Rhodes etc but I feel they are the ones to head for. I think Tilos was home to roughly 500 folks a when we used to go and the ‘town’ we stayed in was home to 100 of these 500. Fabulous place.
