I did laundry all afternoon. They beat the heck out of the laundromat!

Did anyone proposition you? You don’t have to answer. 😉

One of the cats tried to sit on my lap. Does that count?

Those were my great-grandparents’ names. They were short people and for some reason my new appliances reminded me of them!

Once a man at the laundromat gave me his phone number.
p.s. My husband said you’d be wise to get the extended warranty on those (if you haven’t already!)

We’ve had a broken dishwasher since January. It’s not the same hardship but the carry on when it is under a repair prog has been a saga to match the ancient Norse ones. We are being told it will be next week …

I once wrote a story, way back in my teenaged days as a school assignment, about a Greek god named Dranos who had to rescue the lovely Housewiphone (sort of rhymed with Persephone) from the perils of household plumbing. Your Norse saga reference brought back a solid memory. I got good marks on that paper. Wish I’d kept it.

I like the sound of that. Too bad you didn’t still have it. We would have paid to have it mended but I am damned, having already paid for this after sales service if I am doing that.
