I snapped this selfie in Disney’s Magic Kingdom park on Monday. It truly is, “The Happiest Place on Earth!”

And we had zero responsibilities! The only child with our group had his parents, grandparents, and uncles along. Studly and I just enjoyed being there.

Even better. The first we ever went it was not a great start. Our older girl who can get sea sick walking through a puddle, was sea sick on the riverboat across the flat lake. For a moment walking up Main Street she was the star attraction as everyone went, ‘Gee look at that lil’ girl. She’s sick.’ By the time we got to Pirates of The Caribbean, so was I, just thinking of all the money this had cost and the two hours spent seeing the inside of the medial facility. BUT like that, we went on that ride and I suddenly understood the magic of the place. It’s not just the rides, the parks themselves are beautiful.

Oh dear! Not an auspicious start! Glad the day improved. How long ago did you visit?

We’ve been a few times Leslie. That one was 1993 and we went back the following year. We were last there when the girls were older–still a while back now.
