hang your prayers on banners,
pennants flying in the sun
waving over fallow fields,
snapping in the winter dawn.
best to see them flapping,
madly dancing on the breeze
than dragging limply, wasted
unmarshalled, and ungrieved.
A trip through life with fingers crossed and eternal optimism.
Doing the best I can with what I have
kind of sad, but not so bad with cheese. cheese not provided.

This is so ethereal and beautiful. I have never been to Tibet, but saw absolutely fascinating pictures of the prayer flags.
