if i were an artist
and this page a canvas
i might simply leave it
just as it is and exclaim,
it is done!
this is it!
i’ll call it
B L A N K S P A C E
curators might declare
my work the best ever done
and offer it at auction for
thousands of dollars,
bidders would clamor to add
B L A N K S P A C E
to their private collections.
but a writer cannot
leave the space blank.
i tried.
and the writer cannot
type
B L A N K S P A C E
on the page because
that defeats the purpose.
it’s a conundrum, really.
I need a DIY Abstract Writing Tutorial.
Peace, people!
This was quite an entertaining read. I appreciated it as an abstract artist. I loved the second verse where you presented the blank canvas as a masterpiece. You have lots of words and expressions and thoughts ready to share. Best wishes on your writing journey. xo

I appreciate the feedback. I’m struggling a bit right now while entertaining the grandkids. My brain is sort of a blank space. 😉

You’re doing fine. It’ll come tumbling out when you’re relaxed. Hang in there.

I can come up with ideas, I just can’t come up with the details.

Love it! That was really funny. 🙂 I’m afraid I often find abstract art a bit too, um… abstract to appreciate.

We prefer the term “non-representational” (said in my snobbiest voice)
