small towns lack some perks
like traffic jams, long commutes,
and endless traffic.
rush hour lasts minutes
and might be easily missed
while enjoying wine.
A trip through life with fingers crossed and eternal optimism.
Doing the best I can with what I have
kind of sad, but not so bad with cheese. cheese not provided.

Again that surreal yet true touch, ‘rush hour lasts minutes’ – splendid. Reminds me of when we were living in a small town in Devon. On day the radio station said, ‘Now for the traffic news…there is none’!

I grew up in a town of roughly 4,000 people. On Saturday nights our entertainment was driving a prescribed loop around the town. A complete loop took maybe five minutes.

It was very sedate. And all about flirtation.

Ah didn’t realize that when speeding about the place…perhaps that’s why I never got a girlfriend! All these years on and now I find out!

in many cities, traffic takes up such a huge part of one’s precious time on earth, not to mention the sky.high stress levels!
