Imagine

Lately I find that certain songs make me cry. This one made me pull my car off the road so I could sob. https://youtu.be/L6svOHFSAH8

I cried for lost innocence, for the needless deaths of people of color. I cried for this country. I cried for the absence of justice. I cried until I couldn’t cry anymore. And then I drove home. That’s privilege.

Peace, people.

  1. And since the USA was the leading Country in the world….I cry for the backward slide of the whole world….except the Covid mask makers and sanitizer makers.

  2. Reblogged this on Notes and commented:
Wish I was there to hug you and wipe those precious tears away. Rest assured there is enough love in this world that no amount of hatred can erase just like that. 💖💖💖

  3. My daughter’s dance studio did a ballet performance to this for the older girls last year. It is already an incredibly emotional song, but seeing it choreographed for a lyrical ballet? I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire building when they performed. I’m kind of not looking forward to seeing several dances performed this year because of the songs they’d chosen way back in January have now taken on such a heavier meaning. I’ll be sitting in the audience with tear soaked mask on.
