Shelter in Place Haiku

Alone, together

We play at isolation

Without a game plan

The ground rules have changed

Practice social distancing

For the greater good

In this brave new world,

Every minute a bell tolls

We listen alone

A Facebook friend said she needed sheltering-in- place haikus. I was happy to oblige.

  1. This disease has only exposed who we really are . Like Trump ….he exposed the racist, hating, ugly side of us. This disease has exposed the giving , true helping part of us, and the selfish, ignorant part of us.

In both cases, the meteor blast to our Country only exposes what is really there
