A lifetime ago
a summer rendezvous here
when the house was whole
I’d escaped my life
you’d made all the arrangements
uninterrupted.
Those days forgotten
or merely sweet memories
of crisp linen love.
A trip through life with fingers crossed and eternal optimism.
Doing the best I can with what I have
kind of sad, but not so bad with cheese. cheese not provided.
My streams of thought meet here
